Hello, and welcome to my blog–theJulietSeries. I sat and thought about how I wanted to launch this new blog and only found it fitting that I start off with some introductions. Pictures were taken over the weekend during our little visit to the Shin Zen Friendship Garden.
My name is Juliet. I am Hmong. I work as a NICU RN, part-time. I am from the Central Valley of sunny California. I love photography, hiking, fashion, and beauty. Although, I am just an enthusiast in these topics, I still love sharing my hobbies and interests. I’m a huge introvert. I have a weird obsession with baby products, such as diaper bags, car seats, strollers, etc., which led me to getting certified as a national CPST. I probably say “literally” a little too much and I love drinking coffee.
To the right on the photo above, is my husband, Jeffrey. We will be celebrating our five year anniversary in June this year. He’s the complete opposite of me, yet we somehow make it work and do manage to share similar interests. He’s obviously the social butterfly out of us two. When he’s not spending his time with us on his spare time, he’s usually working on car stuff. And by “car stuff,” I mean reviving/rebuilding and fixing his old school Toyota Corolla.
And now, meet Avery, our two-year old daughter (in the pink jacket). Avery will be turning three in May. She’s full of life and energy. She is the sweetest little girl on the planet with lots of sass and personality. Her current favorite things are LOL surprise dolls, anything Minnie Mouse, Rapunzel, and Paw Patrol. This girl is the best big sister to her little brother.
Lastly, meet our five month old son, Shane. He’s a pretty happy baby, except when he’s not feeling well. He’s loves playing Peek-a-Boo and rolling around. He’s a foodie and will throw a fit if you don’t feed him while he watches you eat. He can’t wait to be running around with his big sister.
We are a family of four. Not sure if the future holds plans for more kids, but for now, it’s us four. Now that Shane is a little bigger, we’re making it an effort to get out and do more exploring. Adjusting to having a baby around again has been hard, but we’re hanging in there. We hope you enjoy our family adventures! Stay tuned for our upcoming getaway this weekend!
