About Me

My name is Juliet. I have my bachelors in Nursing. I work part-time as a NICU RN, but pick up shifts at my secondary employer quite often, which basically means that in the end, I really do still work full-time. I married the boy I fell in love with when I was thirteen years old, even though we didn’t start dating until I was eighteen. He is the one person who is willing to put up with all my craziness and still love me through it all. We have two beautiful, energetic kids–a girl and a boy, who bring us so much joy.

In all honestly, I enjoy a little bit of almost everything. I find interests in photography, fashion, beauty, traveling, and looking for neat DIY’s to try out. I am an avid coffee drinker and on most days that I don’t drink coffee, I will usually get a migraine. I like to still claim that I play volleyball, even though I haven’t hit, yet alone touch a volleyball in roughly two years now. I can sometimes enjoy cooking, but not always. However, I do have a major sweet tooth! Donuts, cupcakes, French macrons, danishes– you name it and I’ll most likely love it.

I am Hmong-American and a Christian. My parents are first generation immigrants. I was born and raised here in California. I grew up in a Christian family and pray to pass on the passion and love for Jesus to my children. Religion plays a vital role in forming me to become the person that I am today, and I cannot thank God enough for all that He has blessed me with. I am who I am today because of Him.

I love anything Disney and have passed on that love to my daughter. Aladdin is still one of my all-time favorite Disney movies! Princess Belle is probably my most admired princess because of her love for books and reading.

My plans for this blog is to mainly document my life. I’ve always loved journaling and I want to share my adventures of starting off as an amateur photographer with those interested enough to read my blogs. Also, I love sharing about all the little hobbies I enjoy. I have my little moments of getting into crafting and DIY’s, which I hope will eventually make it on my blog one of these days.

With love,
