New Goals

Over the past few years, my mom has been pushing me to go back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner. I gave it some thought and didn’t have any motivation to pursue this dream of her’s. I have two young children at home and work full-time. Returning to school was just not a priority for me at this point.

As much as I love being a nurse, in my heart, I wanted to be something more as well. Being a family nurse practitioner seemed like a great goal, but nothing about it was exciting for me.

Since we are deciding to move, I have researched a few options in continuing my education. I am excited to share that my new goal is to pursue becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). There a few programs that offer going from a bachelors to a doctorate degree, skipping the whole master’s degree altogether. The schooling is a little longer than 3 years, but it’ll be worth it!

Of course, these goals won’t be happening anytime too soon, but I’m praying things will start to fall into place next year.

With love,

Juliet
